Well-known Hollywood photographer Douglas Kirkland dies at 88


Well-known Hollywood photographer Douglas Kirkland handed away on 2 October. The official announcement of the unhappy information says that he was at his residence in Hollywood Hills, LA, surrounded by his spouse, two pals, and their canine.

Douglas Kirkland was born on 16 August 1934 in Toronto and grew up in Fort Erie, Ontario, Canada. At age 24, he turned a workers photographer for Look journal. he turned well-known for his 1961 images of Marilyn Monroe taken for Look’s Twenty fifth-anniversary difficulty. He later joined the workers of Life journal.

Aside from working for magazines, Kirkland labored within the movement image trade as a particular photographer.
