I feel it unlikely that they’re going to introduce a higher-spec (30ish MP) digital camera beneath the R6. Extra possible they’re going to re-use the R6 sensor, and scale back the spec in sure areas to maintain the price down. Examples may embody decrease res EVF, mounted display, elimination of IBIS, elimination of mode dial and buttons (through the use of superior “intelligent-auto” metering, and allotting with P, S, A, M). I am assuming that the digital camera can be aimed toward budget-conscious novices, who would most likely choose a simplified digital camera.
