Blackberry Sage Sweet

Ingredients

12 – Blackberry Sage Tea Bags
8.5 – Cups of water
1 Cup – Blackberries, Frozen
1 Cup – Sugar
1 Tablespoon – Lime Juice
6 Sprigs – Mint or Sage

This delightful summer sip shows off a refreshing iced preparation of Blackberry Sage black tea.
A refreshing iced tea preparation of one of The Republic of Tea’s classic flavors. Serves 6.

Steep tea bags in 4 cups of boiling water for 4 minutes. Remove tea bags and add 4 cups of cold water. While tea cools, prepare the sugar syrup by combining frozen berries, 1/2 cup of water, sugar and lime juice in a medium saucepan.

Bring to a boil, turn off the heat and mash berries with a fork. Strain syrup. Pour tea into ice-filled glasses, and add syrup to each glass to taste. Stir well. Garnish with more blackberries and mint or sage!
