Our premium rubber gym mats are available with two thickness options, 8mm and 10mm, so you can get the best product for your needs. Whatever you choose, it’s going to be thick enough to hold up to heavy duty use, but thin enough not to pose a big tripping hazard in the gym.

You can choose to purchase an all black exercise mat, but you also have the option of a color fleck on the surface. To add a pop of color to your routine, pick from red, gray, blue, and yellow EPDM color flecks.

Squeaky Clean: Rubber Mat Maintenance

Our gym floor mats feature a non-porous surface with a smooth finish, so clean-up is as simple as wiping down the mat with a mild soap and water mixture. When there’s a buildup of dust or dirt, simply break out the broom or vacuum for a quick sweep.

Best of all, our mats are finished on both sides. That means you can flip it over to get twice the lifetime performance out of your mat.

But what about the smell? Some rubber mats have a somewhat chemical-y smell that can be distracting when you’re trying to have a good workout. While these mats do give off a bit of smell, there are steps you can take to make it dissipate quickly.

To clear out an unpleasant smell, mop the mat with a mixture of soap and water. Open any windows in the room and turn on fans to maximize ventilation. You may need to mop the mat a few times, and it can take as long as a month for it to go away completely.

Installing Our Workout Mats

If you’ve ever experienced issues with a flooring install, then ease of installation is probably high on your list of priorities, right after quality. Good news: installing our exercise mats is as easy as it gets. Just place your workout mat where you want it, roll it out, and presto! Installation complete.

Each Premium Mat measures 4’x6’, and weighs differently depending on the thickness. 8mm gym mats weigh about 47 lbs, while the 10mm mats weigh 60 lbs. While you’re not going to want to carry these mats back and forth, they’re definitely portable enough if you want to move or set up a temporary space.
