This is the most simple form of babywearing- there are no buckles, snaps or neoprene- just a long piece of comfortable cloth with tapered ends. The wrap conforms to the wearer’s shoulders and back for a comfortable fit that is fully customizable for babies & parents of all sizes. Wrapping is a process much like tying your shoes- it takes practice in the beginning, but soon becomes second nature. A wrap-style carrier places baby in the optimal position- high on the wearer’s chest and close enough to kiss. This is extremely important in any baby carrier but especially in any water environment.

Beachfront Baby Wraps conform to ASTM F2907-15. This means that our wraps have undergone mandatory testing to ensure they meet the necessary safety requirements as outlined by experts in the fields of children’s product safety and babywearing safety. Each of our wraps include a full color photo instruction booklet with detailed written instructions as well as clear photos. If you still need a little extra help, we have a YouTube video demonstrating how to put on the wrap and place your baby in it in the heart-to-heart hold. (Look for us on YouTube as BeachfrontBaby!)

Our lightweight fabric is perfect for hot weather babywearing with babies from 8lbs to approximately 30lbs but it does NOT include sun protection factor. Please use care & common sense when taking your baby out in the sun or water. Don’t do anything with your baby in the wrap that you wouldn’t do with him/her in your arms. By purchasing a Beachfront Baby Water Wrap Carrier, you agree to release Beachfront Baby, LLC & it’s members, employees and/or retailers from any & all liability for any injury which might result from the use of our wrap. Why should we wear our babies?

Human babies are born without fully developed brains, much like a kangaroo joey. Their survival depends on their mother (or primary caregiver) because they are completely helpless. It takes 6-9 months for their brains to grow& develop to a state much like the young of other mammals at birth. This time, known as the 4th trimester, should be spent in a womb-like environment for proper development to occur.

What are the benefits of babywearing?

Babies who are carried in close contact with their primary caregiver cry an average of 40-50% less than babies who are not carried. Scientists and experienced parents know this is because babies feel more secure when they can smell, hear & feel all the familiar scents, sounds, touches & movements. This lowers babies stress level, and, as an added bonus, parents’ stress levels as well! The less your baby cries, the less you feel stressed! Babies who are carried more also spend more time in the quiet/alert state, which is the ideal state for learning to occur. Instead of his energy going towards trying to get your attention, he can spend that energy learning about his world. Babywearing also encourages breastfeeding. Mothers who wear their babies tend to pick up on their hunger cues quicker and feed more frequently. Frequent breastfeeding is normal infant behavior and ensures a plentiful milk supply.

We understand that sometimes returns are needed, but please remember, we are a small business utilizing the Amazon platform but we are do not have the same resources as Amazon. For transparency, we want to share our return policy here so you don’t miss it:

If you wish to return a carrier for any reason other than a defect, it must be returned within 30 days of receipt & have all packaging included in the return. If the return is made past 30 days, there will be a 5% deduction for every 15 days. (5% for 30-45 days, 10% for 46-60 days, etc) This deduction is in addition to the below policies:

Return shipping charges are the customer’s responsibility.

Returned carriers must be in like new condition.

Shipping charges cannot be refunded.

If you chose f r e e shipping, the shipping charge we incurred to send your package to you will be deducted from the amount of the refund. (Usually between 4.50-6 depending on shipping option)

If the returned carrier has many visible signs of use, staining or smells of smoke or sun block, or has excessive hairs on it there will be a 15% restocking fee.

If the returned carrier is deemed unsellable upon inspection (stains, smoke, or sunblock that cannot be removed by washing), no refund will be given.
